“Getting a dog is the key to success”

I don’t think it will be new news to anyone reading this, but this link made me smile.  That said, as I sit behind my desk at work again, earning mine and Betty’s keep, it’s a little harder to feel successful at the moment.  I know what I want to do … I want to work with dogs, be surrounded by dogs, talk to dogs and talk dog to doggy people.  But, as things stand at the moment, my little start up business is not keeping Betty in the style to which she has become accustomed, let alone pay my mortgage.  I know it will be a slow start while my reputation grows and I get referrals and then referrals from referrals, and my website will inch it’s way up the viewing ratings slowly but surely.  But for now, I’m behind a desk again (today, I tried to do up my seat belt …!), my fingers whirring over a keyboard, headset on and smiling like I’m over the moon to be here.  But I am very much still open for business for all things dog, so if anyone needs any help, I can do early mornings, evenings (and not even that late in the evening either – one advantage of this job) and weekends, and I hope you will take me up on this.  Please!
